SUNRYZR is the luminous persona of L.A.-based songwriter, artist, and producer Mejin Leechor. A one-woman artistic engine, she crafts high-voltage electronic pop whose sonic DNA traces back to the euphoric, synth-forward anthems of The Naked and Famous and other 2010s indie rock bands. Her songs radiate conviction and a fierce commitment to self-authorship, channeling the indomitable spirit of Bruce Lee through the sacred feminine.

Her debut single, “A Little Like This,” is a propulsive mid-tempo anthem that celebrates the jettisoning of old scripts, claiming the freedom to define (and redefine) the shape of one’s own life. The song’s refrain, “it looks a little like this,” is a declaration of acceptance on the other side of reckoning with and releasing old stories. These are words of learned and earned self-trust.

Behind these words and the blaring of synths is a song-maker writing, recording, producing, and engineering in a bedroom studio to fully realize a creative vision with her own hands.
